Painting your own home is about saving money, but painting better then a painting contractor is the most important factor
Well! You've gone out and gotten prices from various painting contractors to repaint the interior of your home, and come to the a few conclusions.

1. The price I feel is to high
2. I just don't feel comfortable with any of them
3. I just didn't think the painters understood what I wanted
4. I feel that painters are using materials that are only easy for them, but not the best product to showplace my home
5. I just feel that with some knowledge from someone, I can do much better then a painter

Well, if those are some of the conclusions that you have come up with, let me know your questions, and I will explain the proper preparation of a wall (meaning everything depends what is on the wall presently-flat, semi-gloss,gloss), the condition of your woodwork, caulking, patching, etc.

Many homeowners feel that just grabbing a roller, and rolling away is the answer, but be assured that is not really the answer. So give me all your questions, and I will give you all the right answers on what to look for, and how to start prepping the trim, walls, before even starting to paint to ensure that when you are finished painting you will be on cloud nine.
